Murree is a famous hill station in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the capital city of Murree tehsil and falls under the domain of Rawalpindi. It was built by the British government in 1850 and retained the status of British headquarters during summers till 1876. The name Murree comes from “Marhi” which means “The High Place”. People usually come to Murree to escape the scorching heat of summers and enjoy snowfall in winters.

Trekking and Hiking

Trek Mushkpuri, Trek Miranjani and Pipeline trek Nathia Gali to Ayubia (leisure walking trek) are famous hiking treks of Murree.

Chair Lift and Cable Car
